More About Our Food Tours

George Town is a special city to us. It has some of the most amazing food in the world, and plenty of poignant history. But most travelers to Penang never truly experience the insight and emotion this city and it’s cuisine has to offer.

Food is an intimate connection to a community, street food even more so. In the years that we’ve been eating in and exploring this city, we’ve met so many wonderful people. For some, food is a connection to family - their grandparents started the stall they now run and it has fed their family for generations. For others, food is a way to revisit memories or make new ones.

We want our food tours to be a substantive experience. Even with the deluge of information available at our fingertips, it can be hard to make a connection with the places we visit. We want to be a bridge between you and the people, food and heritage of George Town.
